Haikus for Friday.
Only today’s Saturday.
But it’s still haiku.
It is a season-
Carpools, commutes, and deadlines loom.
When can I be still?
I was not prepared
For the first frost and needing
The windshield scraper.
Contemplating the things that matter when I step out of the dark

Haha. I like the one about the windshield scraper. Although I guess I would like it less if I needed the scraper. It is in the 40s today where I am, so luckily not yet below freezing!
Snow here, but it will melt soon. Not ready at all. Love that you have Friday poetry on a Saturday. I feel like I’m falling behind on NaBloPoMo too, or all of life… 🙂
No frost here just yet, which is unusual or uis! I love Haiku’s this is great!
Very charming, sorry about the window scraper. That is not something we need here, so if we had some kind of freak cold spell, everyone would be screwed.
