Spring Break Trip Preview

In the St. Louis Airport waiting for our connection. We’ve had a lovely family and fun filled ten days.

I feel like I never post in real time, but what else to do while waiting for a flight?

Here are some previews

View over the Rockies
Golden Gate Bridge
Sutro Baths and a view of the Ocean.
Mighty Redwood Trees.
In N Out! Our Must Eat!
Climbing gym on a rainy day.
Cable Cars
Tasty food!
… and a visit to the emergency room.

If I never get around to writing recaps, at least here are the highlights!

  1. That picture of the Rockies from above is stunning. And I really, really, really want to see Redwoods before I die.

Also, the emergency room? On vacation?? Just, no…Gah. At least she looks moderately happy/content?!

    1. It was a good trip. And even the emergency room wasn’t terrible once I knew she was going to be okay.

    1. I am horrible at trip recaps (looking at you, Amsterdam 2023)! I need to take a page from your book and just write them, even if it’s way after the fact!

  2. Oh, no! There’s nothing worse than an ER trip on vacation. But I can’t wait to hear more details about the rest of your fun.

    1. I want to write trip recaps, but I’m not a fast writer, so who knows when that will get done. I’m determined to, though!

  3. This all looks wonderful – except the ER visit pic!! Eeks! Sounds like everything went ok w/ that, though.

That is such a wonderful area of the country to visit. I had a friend that lived in Oakland and I visited her several times. She’s super into trail running so she knew all the best places to hike. Now she quit her job and will be traveling around the US/Canada and probably internationally so I don’t have an easy home base. But I’d love to take my kids out there when they are a bit older. Maybe in 3 years.

    1. It is beautiful there! Whenever I’m there, I understand why my brother has lived there for almost 30 years now and would not dream of moving anywhere else.
